Nascar Victory Lane Event
WATKINS GLEN, NY. – Thanks to years of experience with taking pictures and videos of race cars at Watkins Glen International (WGI) and other racetracks in the Northeast US, Kollins Communications was asked again to return to WGI. This time to take pictures of fans at the I Love New York 355 at The Glen race, part of the 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. Spectators with Fan Walk tickets had the opportunity to see the race trophy, made locally by the Corning Museum of Glass. Fans lined up all morning for this opportunity, and more importantly they were excited to take their picture with the trophy. Kollins reworked our usual ecommerce experience at TrackTimePhotos.com to provide fans with free downloads of their pictures before the race was over. Throughout the day, over 700 fans had their picture taken with the trophy and by the end of the day they could share their pictures on social media. Building on our experiences of previous events at The Glen, our system was already in place to handle uploading the pictures on-site and allowing fans to download them on computers and mobile devices. Contact us if you would like to take advantage of our experience with event coverage and digital integration, as The Glen has for many years.
